i am a work in progress dressed in the fabric of a world unfolding offering me intricate patterns of questions rhythms that never come clean and strengths that you still haven't seen
things i have accomplished so far today
- talked to my mother on the phone
- ripped november off of my wall calendar
- watched a video made by a friend in colorado (very sweet)
- read an essay by Joan Didion about self-respect
- cried briefly
- put a sweater on
- made at least 3 mental to do lists
- forgot everything
- preemptively hated myself before I had the chance to self-pity
- considered the future
- felt defeated
- put on a pair of jeans
- I’m trying as hard as I can to leave the house
